Privacy Policy

Last updated June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Seamily ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and product. This page is maintained by Seamily and should be reviewed with legal counsel before relying on it for your own clinic's compliance program.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email, clinic name, and password hash, provided when you sign up.
  • Customer Data — appointment metadata, invoice totals, and patient contact information that you upload from your EMR. We do not require or ingest clinical notes.
  • Usage data — basic logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used to keep the Service running and secure.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Generate AI analytics, reports, and marketing drafts for you.
  • Communicate with you about your account and product updates.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

  • Subprocessors we use to run the Service (hosting, database, email delivery, AI inference). They process data on our instructions under written agreements.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

Data location & retention

We store Customer Data on infrastructure located in Canada. We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period after cancellation so you can reactivate or export it. You can request deletion at any time.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws such as PHIPA), you can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details below.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.
